I thought I was done with strongman contests, but when Chris gets back in the Hosting game I guess I’ll need to get back in the contest game. It’s just 8 weeks after my next weightlifting meet so it’ll be a gear-change into heavier weights.

And it’ll be in the middle of Team Tennis season, so it’s all uncharted water. I’m stoked.

And these are consistently the most comfortable meet shirts I’ve gotten. I have to size up, but they’re worth it.

I did some more work on some Wishlist items with the Nashville Ambient Ensemble (I sprung for the vinyl on this one) and the $mokebreak EP.

I don’t remember where I first heard Stan Ipcus rap, but I’m glad I did. His style hits me the right way.

The Jack Silverman ep is a cool 3-song release and has a little more saxophone than you may have been expecting (in the good way that unexpected saxophone sometimes appears).

The Coupler “Live on Worldwide FM” set just came out today so I haven’t gotten too deep into it. I’ve been into everything I’ve heard from them so I expect to enjoy this one, too.

The process of cutting the stencils and painting “Bob and the Mighty Wurlitzer” featuring the Wurlitzer Organ and house organist Bob Gulledge of The Byrd Theater in Richmond, Virginia. Several copies of this painting will be auctioned off to support restoration of the house organ.

This is 100% the kind of Richmond thing that I would proudly hang a print of in my house. Nils is really good.
